For the last 3 years the Sugarloaf Chapel has been undergoing extensive repairs on both the exterior and interior. Extensive structural/weather protection upgrades (sills, doors, windows, decks, etc.) are almost complete and the upgrades to the electrical/plumbing/heating systems are also nearing completion. The upgrades make the chapel more enegy efficient, more comfortable in winter and summer, and ensure that our community will be able to share its services for many years to come.

We are extremely grateful to the hundreds of people who have donated their time and resources that will allow the chapel to continue to serve our community for years to come, continuing the dream of Richard Bell and many others who got together and built the chapel in 1968. We invite everyone to come by and see what has been accomplished, and encourage all to avail themselves of the services the chapel has to offer.

Chapel Construction

There are still some upgrades/finishing touches that we'd like to undertake to make the "form and function" of the chapel state of the art for energy efficiency, comfort and longevity.  Our on-going fundraising will continue to assist us in reaching that goal and hopefully many will join in to make the chapel a place where we can all gather to share our joys and rememberances well in to the next century.

Thank you, from the Chapel Board and the Chapel's Visitors.
